Planning a Micro Wedding in Indianapolis

A smaller wedding does not mean a smaller experience.
Micro weddings can be some of the most meaningful celebrations because they give you more room to be intentional about the people, the setting, and the details that matter most.
For couples planning a wedding with 30 guests or fewer, there is also a lot more flexibility in how the day can come together.
You Have More Venue Options
One of my favorite things about micro weddings is that you do not have to follow a traditional venue format.
You could hold your ceremony somewhere meaningful and then move to a restaurant for an intimate reception dinner afterward. A private dining room, thoughtful menu, beautiful florals, and custom stationery can create an experience that feels incredibly personal.
You can also choose a venue that can host both the ceremony and reception in one place. Indianapolis has some wonderful options for this, including Laurel Hall, where a smaller celebration can feel intentional and beautifully suited to the space.
A Smaller Guest List Creates More Room for Thoughtful Details
With fewer guests, you can focus more closely on the experience you are creating.
That might mean one beautiful dinner table, handwritten notes at each place setting, custom menus, meaningful welcome details, or a meal that becomes part of the celebration itself.
Instead of trying to fill a large room, we can focus on making the people who are there feel welcomed, connected, and cared for.
Micro Weddings Still Benefit From Planning
A smaller guest count does not necessarily mean fewer logistics.
You may still be coordinating multiple locations, transportation, florals, photography, stationery, rentals, dinner, and the overall flow of the day.
My role is to help you bring those pieces together, shape the design, and create a plan that allows you to actually enjoy the celebration.
At Fleurish Event Design, our Intimate Wedding Planning experience is designed for weddings of up to 30 guests, with full-service planning and design from beginning to end.
Because whether you are celebrating with 30 people or 130, the goal is the same: to be fully present with the people you love and enjoy the day you created together.
